“Matthew had perfectly normal looking ears at birth. Then at around 2 and a half months his right ear started to drift outwards. We didn't think much of it but as time went on his left ear started to drift too. I noticed this more than my husband and when I brought it to his attention he figured it was no big deal and just to leave it. Time went on and at 4 months the prominence of his ears got more obvious. I then discovered EarBuddies online. I asked my health visitor and midwife about it but none of them seemed to know what EarBuddies were. At 5 months after speaking again to my midwife, she suggested pinnaplasty surgery and said we should wait until our son was old enough to decide on his own. After doing research I decided to try EarBuddies first. My husband wanted a second opinion regarding EarBuddies and so I booked a GP appointment. The GP knew nothing of EarBuddies and referred us to an ENT specialist. So in July we finally had an appointment for an ENT Doctor to see Matt. My husband's concerns were soon put to rest as this doctor did know all about EarBuddies and its success. So we bought the kit and started when Matt was 6 months old.
